Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No. You can lock and store photos and videos on your phone without an account, offline by default. Optional premium Cloud Vault requires an account and an internet connection for backup and sync.
Can your team see my photos or videos?
No. Our team cannot view the photos or videos in your vault. Both on-device files and Cloud Vault files use AES encryption. Cloud Vault encrypts files on your device before upload, using a password that is never sent to our servers.
Will copies remain in my camera roll?
Importing does not hide copies left outside the vault. Confirm your files have imported, then remove any originals from your photo library and Recently Deleted. Copies in other apps, shared albums, or separate backups need to be managed there.
Is Cloud Vault included in the free app?
No. Cloud Vault is an optional premium feature. Enable it and let your backup finish before switching devices. You need your Cloud Vault password to restore files; we cannot recover that password. Your phone’s backup settings are separate.
Can I use a different passcode from my phone?
Yes. Choose a separate vault PIN, alphanumeric password or pattern. When you choose a different vault code, knowing your phone’s passcode does not give someone that code. You can also require Face ID and your vault PIN together, so Face ID alone is not enough to open your vault.
